The Escher Hotel

This is a model of a lobby for a concept-based hotel. This is based on the works of Escher, and also displays some of his work. There is a focus on the idea that just when you think you have a part of it figured out, it changes. Notice the Stairs on the arch, going up, then reversing to the other side. The spiral staircase continues through the glass floor to join the mural near a doorway, bridging the gap between the 2dimensional escher drawing, and the three dimensional staircase.
